Yes. I grew up in a Jehovah Witness home, so I was taught that being gay was wrong and went thru a long self hatred period.

Never. I've supported gays for my entire life, but I sometimes used to pretend to be homophobic even though I really wasn't and I knew I was gay.

No. I just pretended that I wasn't gay. I was uncomfortable watching gays kiss on t.v in front of my parents and stuff but I never made rude or nasty comments.

There's one moment that really stands out in my past that I regard as homophobic, and that I deeply regret.

There was this guy in my class who had made a video and was shaking his backside and carrying on like a total thot, and me and one of my male friends was discussing it and I very clearly remember making the comment, "That's so gay", and I totally meant it as an insult. If I could, I would take it back, but I'm glad to have grown from that. It's really amazing what being trapped in an anti-gay environment can do to your psyche, even when you suspect you might be gay yourself.
