Does Janet whisper in every song? I never noticed this, but for the few songs I know by her, I have no idea what she's saying except for maybe the chorus.
Not in her '90s music. I don't think "Doesn't Really Matter" is especially whispery, it's just sung quickly. Damita Jo is a whisper-fest, just awful. The only song she sings on is "I Want You," and even that is pretty quiet, considering the track. I think she was trying to mask the fact that she was sounding more like Michael.
As for this song. Is it any good? No I haven't listened to it.
