No. I was very good at school, but I always knew I was a bit thick. I just knew how to get good grades at school. When I went to university I realized how inept I was when it came to solving problems with people and managing time etc. I'm retraining in something that I don't need any good grades for, but I think I can do.
I can be successful in being happy

Another thing you all need to understand is that eduction can be both formal and informal.

A person who gets good education will become good citizen, more dependable worker. Without education a person is incomplete, so education makes man a right thinker and a correct decision maker.

Education plays a big role and certainly is a core base of just about anything.

But being able to make decisions, be witty, clever, determined and brave are also strong factors to achieving a successful lifestyle.

Well outside of the entertaining industry (where talent plays the major role), yes I agree. Its no wonder that countries with great education are at the top of science, technology, quality of life.

Thats not true at all. Most guys in "Top 10 richest men in the world" have attended university. Not to mention its much harder to work up without degree nowadays because of the formal inisistence of degree at many places.

Education isn't just about studying the subjects and doing well in exams though. Unless you work from young or something, education imparts a lot of other soft skills too.

But of course, education doesn't always mean you will do well in life. Ultimately it is up to the person himself.

If you were to be an engineer or medical doctor, then education is definitely a must.

But if you want to be a successful businessman, a marketing people or an artist, then I don't think education is important. Being street smart however is more important.

Education is very important for success. Just because some people didn't complete college or w/e doesn't mean they didn't continue to expand their knowledge. They just did it in an nontraditional way.

It depends a lot on the field of work you want to do.

I haven't finished college, but I'm already working a pretty well paying job. It's not what I want to do for the rest of my life tho, so I'm going to finish school.

I live in the information era, I dont need the generic "education" that everybody knows, what diferenciates me from others is knowing real knowledge and notions that the majority of people doesnt know, oportunities are created from this
