I was just expecting something different, it doesn't fit with Dark Horse imo... just like the music video.

Dark Horse single cover is flawless.

Especially when I thought the video would be similar to it. ch...

The Dark Horse cover is in her Top 3 of best single covers, I wanted the MV to look like that, even tho I was afraid it could result in a Va Va Voom-esque MV.

I think the single cover will be something very 80's and she may be put some metal thing on it.

The Birthday cover is the best cover in the history of covers.

Last Friday Night is terrible.

Here's my idea for the video.

At the beginning of the video we see Katy sleeping.
Her alarm clock is ringing. She wakes up and yawns (like with her hands up).
Then her iPhone rings (ringtone=last friday night ) and she answers.
Then she answers "sure, I'm coming" (her friend asked her to hang out).
Katy drinks coffee.
Katy is in the kitchen making pancakes for her boyfriend.
*MUSIC STARTS* Katy is looking for the coolest thing to wear. She does like funny faces and we see her clothes change. She takes a selfie, and leaves her home.
She enters a pink car.
Katy and her friend put their sunglasses on with a lot of swag. (With the voice saying this is how we do). They start driving. Then we see the sun rising up in a fast motion.
We see Katy at a bar drinking wine with her friends, laughing and having fun.
Between the scenes we see Katy sitting on the back of a car with a pink hair, lip syncing the song.
Then Katy is playing ping pong with her friends and smiling ofcurse.
Then we see Katy at the bar again, buying drinks for her friends because she is famous, and they get drunk. We see through Katy's eyes, everything is all neon and hazy.
Katy is leaving a fashion store with her gurls with a chanel bag and all that sh**.
Then Katy and her friends enter the pink car again and they do cool moves with their hands (this is the "it's no big deal" part.)
Katy is arriving the beach with her friends. They have fun and all that.
The chorus begins.
Katy and some hip hop dancers are dancing on the beach
"This is how we do, yea ".
Now we see Katy and her gurls near a pool tanning with her swimming suit, and moving their legs like "yea, chilling laid back straight stuning yea we do it like that", like in the song Fabulous in "High School Musical 2". Meanwhile we also see Katy and her friends at her house having a party.

Katy is walking flawlessly with her big hoops and maroon lips, hoppin' in her Maseratti, driving to La Super Rica, and grabbing tacos.
We see Katy in her car cheking out hotties.
Katy and her gurls are getting her nails did all Japanese-y, while reading the astrology section in the newspaper.
Katy and her friends are going to the Wildcat, day drinking, and then singing karaoke badly.

*that whole beach thing again*

Now Katy is at a somekind of stand-up bar saying to the audience "this one goes out to bla bla bla.."
The audience is cheering.

*That whole beach thing again.*

Talking to the audience again..

Katy and her hip hop dancers dancing.. "what? wait no no no, bring the beat back"

I think they are either planning 7 singles off of the regular or a re-release with 8 singles from this era in total.

but a re-release would give it up to 7/8 singles either way. This is how we do/LL/re-release singles.

That's what I think is confusing... She was in studio earlier this year with Dr. Luke and Greg Wells. Only Greg Wells was involved on Ferras' EP.
There was definitely something else in the making. Not to mention her time on studio with Major Lazer

I'm thinking this too. Top 40 is really getting populated with quality music lately and imo even Birthday is a better track than TIHWD which definitely gives off a trashy vibe.
