Thinking exactly this. They could be big, but they're not being handled properly.

They have no selling point really, a girl and her sidekick or something? I know what Nick does but that's what most people think I imagine.
I honestly think Amy would have a bigger shot at getting success if she went solo, since most people already think she's a solo act.

I think Karmen would do a lot better if they would stick to a particular sound...Brokenhearted, Hello, Acapella, and I Want It All were all over the place, musically.

The ignorance, directed at Nick in this thread. I can't.
He's the one who produces and writes all their music. Amy would be just another "quirky" white girl rapper without Nick and his music know-how to put the pieces together and make her look/sound good. The last thing we need is another pearly white, try-hard, kidz bop, bubblegum version of Ke$ha.

At least as a duo they have something interesting going for them.
Brokenhearted did pretty well. The GP doesn't care whether an act is "solo", "duo" or a "band", as long as they're serving hot bops. BH was well timed and the style fit the sound that was hot in mainstream at the time.
I liked their new album, but it just didn't resonate as well with the current trends, and Epic mishandled it as usual. Hopefully they get picked up by a better label because they make a great team.
