UNIQLO has a new men's shirt line of 'music icons'. They have a Madonna shirt in said collection, but the info tag is shady af. Do I sense recent Madonna music shade?
The last sentence makes no mention that she's still an active musician, that's the "shade."
I think its implied she is foremost and will always be a musician. When I read it, the leaving out of being active in music didn't cross my mind, as the first part says her music and image has evolved with the times.
