They don't need to include the music on a movie about her life.

Especially now that Wendy Williams is involved. Its going to be A LOT juicier and messier which is what we all secretly want from the movie anyway. No one is here for some cookie cutter, false propaganda, rainbows and butterflies story of her life.

An unknown is actually preferred because we want to keep the focus on Aaliyah. Instead of having the distraction of "Who is Playing Aaliyah" taking away from the overall film.

And finally, at the end of the day everyone will tune in because ITS AALIYAH. So there.

At some point, Aaliyah deserves some respect for her legacy. Not even her own biopic will have it.

I love Aaliyah....I'm not a huge fan but I jam to her singles, but she was not very interesting when she was out, she didn't really have a chance to make that big of an impact.....the whole film seems pointless
