Harada made the wrong choice by trying to make Street Fighter characters still play like Street Fighter and Tekken still like Tekken. That is basically the impossible he made it harder on himself than he needed to.

Nnnn the fact this is very possible. Ono was smart and made his game like a street fighter game.
Harada is trying to please two fanbases with a game where 100 moves is the standard.

I agree with you about Harada trying to please both sides. I honestly think the way Tekken Revolution plays is perfect for Tekken x SF. It's very flashy and there is no bound system for those juggles. All they need to do is polish it up, improve on it, and add SF elements that won't override Tekken's side.

Honestly, the way they changed the female fighters faces in TR game me Tekken x SF teas.

It's very hard to incorporate a 2D into a 3D fighter. DOA was lucky as hell Virtua Fighter is basically the blueprint for 3D fighters, they had it easy.

Yeah, you can tell they used that game as a test for TK x SF I don't see why they didn't opt to go that route. And you are right how Tecmo was lucky as hell that Virtua Fighter has the same button layout as DOA.

I really hope this doesn't get criticized the way SxT was. Bamco ain't like Capcom, but I still worry a bit.

im so over this. SF is trash anyway. Just scrap the who thing and move on with Tekken 7

SxT got major backlash due to them implementing gems as a means to give you an advantage.
Namco's project will try to be as fair and balanced as possible.

The real issue now is implementing the 3-4 frame jab SF characters to Tekken's 10 frames.
