Applause's lack of nomination just goes along with how much apprehension there was towards her this era and her struggle within chart success and popular relevance. Shes still around, but shes just not around in the way that she'll get nominated by default because shes Lady Gaga. At least not with this era. And while Applause was a valid choice for nomination and had it been nominated it would've made sense, its snub also isn't very surprising.

Very true, I think at first she had the idea of how everything were to be panned out, but it didn't convey to the masses as she'd expected/wanted. from there it was just a big ass mess. but she can always recover, the theme she had was a good one, but she just didn't it handle it well. I personally adore her dark side of things but she took a risk. totally agree on the G.U.Y. situation aswell. it was too late for the song to even stand a chance.

ARTPOP is really a dope ass album. I hate that it's being outshined. I just listened to the whole album over again and it's so perfect.
