Video Games: The Sims Bustin Out | Appreciation Thread

Literally No Sim game IMO comes close to Bustin Out.
This game had the humour and atmosphere of the first game, but with much better graphics.

Sadly, this humour and atmosphere didn't translate over to The Sims 2 and beyond.

The story was also incredibly fun to play, and I remember the idea of having cars to so amazing back in the day.
Also, for some reason the locations you could live in this game were MUCH better than what you had in The Sims 2.
Which was so weird.

And who can forget Mom

And also to spoil your day, this game had pools

It's a great game. The PS2 games were really good until TS2 came out on the console. Even the basic The Sims was pretty decent.

Same reason why we have Appreciation threads for heaps of games, even though we have a Gaming thread. The Sims thread is talking about The Sims in general, not about a particular game.

Plus most people I know who loved Bustin Out back in the day, aren't really Sim fans in general

I prefer The Sims 2 on console than the Urbz.
The Sims 2 pets also had amazing locations to live in.

Yessss Bustin' Out was so good, it's the first Sims game I had on my ps2.

Me, my cousins & my sister always made a house full of kids (based after ourselves) and pretended it was the Big Brother House

Urbz was AMAZING. I loved Bustin' Out as well. I can't remember it too well, but what I do know is that I played it for like 3 years, lmao.

OMGGG, I've never played this, but I loved TS1 for PS2 when I was a kid. I was literally JUST thinking about going to some random thrift store to see if they had a copy of Bustin' Out.
