I only found expansion packs at HalfPricedBooks. I bought a few since they were cheap and hope I'll be lucky and get one of the nicer customer service individuals. Not all of them require the base game.

I feel like TS1 is superior in a lot of ways because I feel it was more of an adult game, whereas kind of in TS2 & definitely TS3 they aimed it more towards children which kind of ruined some aspects imo

What sort of stuff are you looking for exactly? I have a decent amount of CC - mostly clothing, but also insiminator and some other things.

The Sims 2 should have been more like Bustin Out.
Better graphics, but still stuck to The Sims culture.

The Sims 2 lost a lot of culture and The Sims 3 pretty much removed it completely.
