They're waiting for the song to pick up on radio a bit. Then the video....then the VMAs. This is actually a really good plan. It should be out at the end of the month (rumored to come out on the 28th).
They filmed it in mid-June so I would assume it should be out by the end of July, unless it has lots of special effects in which case it might take until August.
