Madonna agrees to $104M settlement

LONDON, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- U.S. pop star Madonna has agreed to give her husband, director Guy Ritchie, nearly $104 million in cash and property as part of their divorce, a source says.

The unidentified source said both sides quickly agreed to the financial settlement that will help end the couple's eight-year marriage, The Times of London reported Friday. "The negotiations were relatively painless. Guy knew what he wanted and Madonna knew what she was keen to keep her hands on," the source said. "There was a time when Guy was in a mood to dig his heels in. With time to think, he decided that this arrangement seemed reasonable and a long battle over money would be unbearable."

Madonna was also furious about Guy’s involvement in a London pub he bought with her and pals — telling friends that he put it before his family.

Sounds like he was a little bitch. For the past year or so it has looked like she has been dragging him around, like he didn't want to be anywhere.

I'm glad she is done with his ass. His career is dead and the only reason it was still alive is cuz of her but he doesn't apperciate it at all! Sucks to be him now cuz the queen will only get stronger from this while he has become a nobody! Go Madonna!

Anyway, I've come to conclusion that rich stars like Madonna and Britney should only get involved in relationships with people of the same level of success or as wealthy. Well, yeah, that's really what the problem is--she's a super-rich WOMAN. You never see a woman asking for a divorce because she feels weaker than her partner.

Madonna wore the pants in the relationship, but the thing about her is that she would wear the pants no matter how rich or powerful the guy is.

Well I don't blame him for shunning Kabbalah. And no one likes Madonna's Home for African pseudo-orphans. But he was clearly just living off of his wife's money.
