In the meantime, I just splurged with my credit card and bought 100 dollars (really 250 dollars in sale) of Sims games off of Origin.

I might be able to enjoy it now that I finally am not using a ******* and can afford it. I could never set it up right and it would always randomly crash which made me give up on it.

Yes. All I had registered on Origin was my Bon Voyage EP and I got the e-mail.

So if I don't have a digital copy of The Sims 2 I can't get the Ultimate Collection?

Origin is making a 70% sale on their Sims 3 EPs.
Are any worth buying? I never really used Origin....

If yes, which ones? I have Late Night already, no other EPs.

Generations, Seasons, Pets & Showtime, Supernatural is fine too

And sorry if this sounds dumb, I'm just not used to Origin but they are offering some of the games for 5 and 10$
My original game isn't in English, will they ask me in what language I want the game?
Also, my other games are physical copies, will they still work with digital copies?

I bought all expansions tbh. My credit limit was raised on my card since I've been doing so well and figured why not.

Tell you what though, for what they are lacking in TS4 promo, they're making up for it in Sims 2 and 3 news. They are like giving the games away

You should specify your country & language in you Origin account settings first and you'll get the version that matches your game language, although I don't think it actually matters since the EPs include the sources files for all languages.

About digital copies mixed with physical ones, I'm not really sure

I think it would be dumb if the games didn't work with the physical copies I already have, but after 15 years of playing the Sims, I've had a lot of problems as simple as that so idk
