Most of us are living fine despite what people around the World have to say. No one is going around constantly thinking "I wonder what *insert countries name* thinks of US people." And why should we when half of the things foreigners say are based off of stereotypes that (although may not be a lie) are overexaggerated or not true for the majority of people?

I have never been in America and I don't know people from America personally. The only experience I made is:
A classmate spent 6 months in the States as exchange student. When she came back she had gained 28 pounds.

It is a stereotype, one that always makes me angry, but there is some foundation and some truth to it.

One thing that we need to clarify is that the obesity epidemic is not equal throughout the U.S. Some states, and some cities in particular, are affected more than others. Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee are among the states more affected by this problem.

But not everyone looks like those tacky individuals from the Walmart cliches. Nor do we have millions of Honey Boo Boos and her mom walking around.
