One years ago I've seen an eye opening documentary my teacher showed the class on this topic.
I was raised associating islam/ Palestine with terrorism, hate and intolerance.
After watching the documentary I felt so sorry for Palestine.
They are so misunderstood, partially by the view media is showing us.
I mean just when both sides give statements to the press....
You'll see Israel government officials in a nice suit sitting at a clean desk in a beautiful room, in front of book shelves with hundreds of big books while speaking flawless English.
Then we have a report of a woman from Palestine on the streets asked for a reaction. The woman just lost her house due to a bomb that dropped so she's filled with anger using insulting words about Israel while speaking messy arabic, she's dressed in sloppy clothes at this dirty market place.
It's very easy for the average viewer to side with Israel cuz they seem so polite and gentle. But if you actually look at the situation you'd know Israel is the wolf in sheep's clothing. Now with all this recent news it makes it impossible to side with Israel, cuz I genuinely feel they are the bad guys here.

First of all, the viewer will always side with the woman who lost her home over a business man. That's basic marketing. Sympathy/empathy is the strongest way to elicit a reaction.
And neither side in this is right. Israel didn't start the war. The people were kicked out of their land by invaders, then persecuted WW, then sent back to Israel after the Holocaust because no country wanted to house the surviving Jews and then attacked by every single neighboring country once they finally made it back to what was once their country.
It's understandable people would want the Israelites out, though, because while they are taking a land back that was originally theirs, other people had set up homes there in the meantime.
How can people be so foolish and think either side is right when they're fighting over petty history and extermism in religions?
