We use like every new word in English. In 50 years, Dutch language is gone tbh

When you call an automatic telephone operated service, and you have to push #, they refer to it as 'hekje'
Which means 'little fence/gate'
but in internet-related stuff, it just called 'hashtag' I guess

No we use the English word.
We have a lot of English words that are hard to translate in our language.

This there are actually organizations who fight to ban all English words in our language cuz it's getting too English lmao
