Her album is amazing, she just mismanaged it. But #Beautiful smashed last year so we all know she can still slay even though she has nothing left to prove. Congrats queen

My goodness. Congrats to Mariah, but my previous post wasn't flamebait at all. It was funny because it got generally favorable reviews not critical acclaim. I don't like that label being thrown around so loosely like it was done previously with Rick Ross' recent album and my fave's own most recent single.

Once again, to reiterate, congrats to Mariah. My bad for finding something in the press release misleading. I won't do that again.

Real news: Eric Wong--her biggest supporter at the label--was promoted to EVP at Island today. From here on out, he will be working exclusively with Island's artists.

Yes, I realized this too goldsoundz. That's why I was wondering why this announcement came so late. This news with Eric Wong is curious though. Does this mean he won't be working with Mariah at all now, considering she's on Def Jam? I know she has a great relationship with him.
