Our government is very corrupt. It started with the Marcos administration and continues up to this day. 3 of our senators are currently in jail for plunder. We had 1 president ousted and jailed for the same corruption charges. The president that succeeded him is also currently in house arrest for also for the same aforesaid cases.
Please do not bring Marcos to this, he was the best president or country ever had. The corruption only started in 1986 when that evil Cory Aquino and her oligarch clan took over and ruined the country ever since.
Mexico comes to mind when I hear the word corruption My mom still lives there(she works for the government) and CH...... people pay whenever you get arrested (no matter what you've done) you can get outta jail if you pay them. If the cops pull you over, you give them some money as well(mordida) and they'll let you go
