Obviously longer albums are more expensive...that's a no brainer. However, that doesn't mean that its more profitable to put out a 12 song album if people don't feel its worth paying for.

Hmm...is that the concept Outkast Speaker boxx/love below used to go 11x platinum.
Garth brooks Double Live 21x platinum
Shania Twain's Up 11x platinum
2 pac's All eyez on me 9x platinum
Biggies Life after death.10x platinum
It's about marketing...a certain fanbase (like the ones that bought PNP) will buy the album when it first comes out...that first month...from there forward its about getting others to join.
In this situation, she could easily have it sold for regular price during album week then reduce the price during the holidays. From there, people are going to buy it basedon promotion.
People are willing to shell out a few more bucks for deluxe edition. they'd be willing to shell out $9 more dollars for double the amount of songs during a sales week without discounts, too.
I loved when Nicki said she likes being the first on HSN. I still think they should have talked about Pills n potions more but that's neither here nor there.
It would be great for her to be the first female rapper to put out a double album. That would be epic
Hoping for the best for PNP and this entire era.
