Has it ever happened to you... that upon putting your hand in your purse on the counter, you suddenly realised you don't have enough money to pay for something you have picked up...
Were you feeling embarrassed at that particular moment?
It happened to me and my ears became tomato-red and hot.
I got a taxi like a month ago and when he pulled up on the street he was dropping me off at I realised I'd lost my card. I apologised heaps and then just stumbled out and kept walking. I was really drunk. It was kind of like the end of Lily Allen's 'Our Time' music video.
That never happened to me. But if it did I would feel a tad embarrassed if the line is long.
Actually, it's even more embarrassing if you queued up for 15 minutes but you realised you don't have enough money to pay only when you reach the counter.
I swiped my credit card once and it bounced back, later on I found out that my salary was delayed that week. I got the entire bag of things and had to call my dad to buy it for me. LMAO!

Girl no need to make up excuses. You've just not got any money
My mom sent me in the store the other day with like 20 dollars to buy 3 packs of lightbulbs and when I got to the cashier it came up to about 30 dollars
Luckily my little sister was with me so i made her run back to the car to go get me some more money. It was embarrassing though having to wait with the cashier for her to return lol.
Everytime I'm buying something that's really expensive but on sale, I have a mini panic moment where I wonder if it was a mistake and it's not on sale and I can't actually afford it.
