That's the Asian way of using it.
Already having small hands and using smaller smartphones two handed. They use it as tablet, laptop and TV replacement while commuting in subways
(with 4G and WiFi coverage underground). Bigger screen is good for watch videos, typing essays,...
I went from 4.7" to 5.5", it's an improvement in usability.
