Discussion: Would you want to be alive during the apocalypse?

Every religion has some form of "the apocalypse" or "the end of the world", whatever you name it. Christianity has the Book of Revelation which (I think) states that Jesus will return. Islam believes in something similar, along with many warning signs. Even atheists somewhat believe that the world will end someday. Some of it has to true, right?

So, my question is this:
Would you want to be alive when all the warning signs start appearing and the apocalypse is about to begin? Would you want to witness it for yourself and maybe have some kind of role or something? Or nah?
