It seems like they're really moving forward with this project, with the family or not. Kind of tacky. But how will they pull it off without securing the rights to Aaliyah's music? While this new girl has a nice voice, I hope they don't feature it in the film. It's definitely not near the same pitch and sibilance as Aaliyah's.
I was really rooting for Zendaya because she has a very youthful quality to her look. That would make the story feel more hard-hitting when dealing with her debut and the R. Kelly mess.
Ch...I hope black twitter and Aaliyah's family scalp her bald. Why the hell would you want to be a part of a false HALF TRUTH project based of a book....based of public perception of someone that her family and friends weren't invited to be a part of and can't even secure the rights to her music ?
Gril.... what next they gonna get chris stokes to play R. Kelly . I don't think the movie would be too inaccurate. It would just be an extended behind the music special we all seen before
As for the music I read some where they can secure the rights to certain beats but won't get her vocals meaning someone will have to re record songs and while Erika has a cute voice.... . Lifetime is going to glorify a pedo - love story bookmark me.

NAWT Chris ! A biopic is supposed to give us some new stuff we don't want no extended behind the music special with no input from people that knew her.
Let's get into No$tradamus' prophecy on the Aaliyah movie:
And there you have it, kids.
...Vin
Sit down Vin, especially when you've claimed multiple times Aaliyah isn't cared for and was nothing. I don't have any clue why you'd be perchedT in all these damn threads if she was "irrelevant" or any of the other disgusting things you've said she was in the past. (All I'll get them receipts)
