It was in pop culture so much that EVERYONE knew the line, whether they liked/heard the song or not.
From my own experience, which I know is not representative of everyone but is still an example, I have always been friends with almost exclusively straight guys (through sports, fraternity, etc) and almost every time Britney was brought up (which would happen since it's no secret I like her), "It's Britney, Bitch" was quoted.
