That was a biT painful to watch. The girl was audibly nervous and rambled on a lot (which is why Don had to cut her off), and the gay white guy made me facepalm when he brought up AIDS and rappers

Overall, they both kinda weren't talking about the same thing; I feel like it's a failing on the writer's part, however, that more people are misinterpreting her point, leading to the mess about gay lingo. If she made it more clear she was talking about the patronizing/offensive stereotypes like the Shaniqua thing/natural hair and weave jokes/the "I'm a black woman inside" thing, I don't know anyone besides an obvious racist who could object. But she didn't articulate herself well, leading to the confusion, but I suppose it's understandable given she's a student writer, apparently
