Currently, the players in the picture above this text are the official top ten nominees for the Golden Ball award. For those who don't know this award, it's given to the player deemed by FIFA to be the most deserving, most valuable player of this world cup and usually coming from the winning team(although there were rare instances other players were selected to win due to winning the golden boot award or inarguably for having the best performance in this edition of world cup regardless of placing.)

Anyway, it doesn't matter who wins really, they all deserve it but who do you think in your opinion had the best performance that enabled their team to move forward despite the adversities and early lead they have to overcome or to protect.

Oh and first two runner ups gets the silver ball and bronze ball so only 7 will be mariah careyed. y'all.
