In order to be the biggest pop star, you have to have impact and you have to be relevant in the media
Don't get me wrong Katy is very successful, but she's not exactly a hot topic in the media

The biggest pop star right now is Bey. I don't even care for her but she is successful, she's the most powerful celebrity and she has tonnes of impact in pop music
