9.29.08- I’m super excited to let y’all know that I will be performing on Dancing With The Stars this Tuesday Sept 30th @ 9pm! Watch it on ABC…I’ll be doing a piece that my good friend Brian Friedman choreographed. It’s going to be sick! He is amazing & you’re gonna love it! It’s the futuristic fashion forward Rhythm Nation! haha wait ’til u see it!
I love doing unique & creatively different projects! That’s what keeps us inspired & moving forward. It’s crucial to express yourself in your own special way! Don’t follow a trend, make one, don't get forced in situations and be pushed back. Don't follow someone else's dream!

No one forced her to do anything. She needs to stop being so shady because without Nicole she'd be nothing...well more of a nothing.
She's speaking in reference to her lessened role within the Dolls after Nicole. She'd been an original member since 1995, and she can sing (maybe not as versatile as Nicole, but nevertheless) and was always a performer/frontrunner before Nicole. When PCD became a recording group, Carmit was pushed to the back and given a smaller role. The Dolls were promised more vocals during DD, but when the time came, management took 100% Nicole again, and Carmit left. She left because she wasn't going to sacrifice her happiness to satisfy Nicole's dream.
They wouldn't have broken out the way they did without Nicole though. But yeah even though she'd be a nobody I can still see where she's coming from.

I totally understand Nicole carrying the group with her excellent voice and great dancing ability. By album 2, her domination should have ended and the other girls should have received more prominent roles.
I never understand why they let Nicole dominated DD so much. Robin Antin would not be that stupid to keep letting nicole monopoly the singing, esp. after all the criticism, unless this project is to pave the way to stardom for nicole at the start, but then the other girls, do they know they are being used?

Nicole is the best anyway. At least it's not a case of DC, where the lead singer is clearly the weakest member in the group musically.
