He bought women and heroin, where was his responsibility towards his family.
Every day are dying 100k people on our beloved planet, so I can care less about this jerk.

He may have been unfaithful, and engaging in illicit drug use, but I'm sure his wife and children would rather he was still alive than dead. He didn't deserve to be murdered for hiring prostitutes and taking drugs. NO ONE deserves to be murdered. I wasn't excusing his behaviour. I was merely pointing out that his wife is now a widow and his children are now fatherless. On top of that they'll have to deal with the trauma that he was hiring prostitutes and shooting heroin. It's a tragedy for everyone involved. Why would you say "I couldn't care less about this jerk"? What a disgustingly insensitive thing to say. Shame on you.
And yes, hundreds of thousands of people die every day, but the death of one person doesn't affect the death of another. There are no placeholders in death. It's not like by dying, this man (who hired prostitutes and did heroin) will take the place of an innocent orphan with HIV/AIDS in Uganda. There aren't Grim Reapers walking around with a quota to fill. This man's death hasn't substituted someone else's.
What a horrible thing to say. Grow up. This is a tragedy for every one involved. The man who died, his wife, his children, his friends, the prostitute who's now guilty of murder, her family, her friends.

He OD'd he made the choice to the drugs so he suffered the consequences. Don't blame the girl, of course she showed no remorse she was a prostitute not his friend.
This is not Murder and rich people can lock anyone up with the swing of a pen on a check.
It's obvious they just want that insurance money.

Way to be a freaking buzz kill. Jesus.
It's a pop forum, nothing should be taking THIS seriously. Who are you to try and change anyone's opinion or prove someone wrong? If you're not trying to do that, then what EXACTLY are you doing by typing that damn essay?

But that is what I'm trying to do. I am trying to change their opinions and make them realise they're wrong. No one deserves to be murdered. No one deserves to have their father die that young. This man was a person. He has daughters who are are going to get engaged one day and when organising their weddings, they're going to think "who's going to walk me down the aisle" and on their wedding day they're going to think "I wish my dad was here." Right now they're still little kids, and somewhere in this world, one or more of them are probably crying their eyes out because they miss their dad, who's now dead.
So sorry for taking something as serious as death/murder seriously. I didn't realise that because ATRL is a pop culture forum it meant we should laugh at murder and say its victims deserved it

First of all... WHY??? Mind ya damn business. You must be bored like the rest of us, but there are more entertaining things to do on here than try to preach to everyone.
Second of all... Who is saying the victim deserves it besides that one guy???

You reap what you sow - that's God's justice - even if your are not believing in God, even many die without guilt, mayb e his deeds help his children to don't get addicted, so everything is served. Life isn't a joyride.
That's the way it is, may he burn in hell for his sins and many more, too.

What do you mean why? Why can't I have a discussion about this? Don't tell me what I can and can't write about here on ATRL.
Secondly, that guy was who I was referring to when I said "we shouldn't say someone deserves to be murdered" because we shouldn't. He's the person whose mind I'm trying to change because saying that is incredibly insensitive.

I don't believe in god. And even if I did, I would never wish that someone would burn in hell. I would hope that that god would show mercy on him and forgive him. That's a horrible thing to wish onto another human being, especially when his "sins" (I don't believe in sins either) are doing drugs and hiring a prostitute. He's broken his wife's heart, but I'm sure she would rather he was alive than dead. It's not like he committed genocide here. Reading the article, it sounded like everyone thought he was a great person. Maybe he had depression. People use drugs and sex to cope with mental illness. You don't know the full story.
And how will he 'burn in hell' when his body just decomposes in a coffin? Is his soul/spirt meant to burn? How do souls/spirits burn when they're not made of any matter? And where exactly is hell and why is there fire there? Fire can't burn without oxygen or gas.
What he did was horrible, but it doesn't warrant being burned alive (even though he's dead?) and stabbed by big, muscley, red demons with tridents and horns for the rest of eternity. I don't know if that's what hell is supposed to be like. I really don't understand it/believe in it.
