Britney stans for sure. Her peak only lasted roughly 5 years and the subsequent years she was just tabloid fodder with dismal to decent commercial returns. As already stated she pretty much took the blueprint Madonna and Janet already layed and her stans act as if she revolutionized the entertainment platform when in actuality all she did was wash, rinse and repeat what has already been done. She was never a true artist imo. She was mainly producer driven and her music had little to no lyrical depth or versatility to it. She is extremely overrated and the last few years attest to this.

Bey. It's nice that she has one 4x platinum album, it's good, it's strong. Not iconic.

Also, her latest album did not start a revolution in the music industry; it did not change it forever; it is not the most impactful album in years because of its stunning originality.

I don't think anyone in the Hive has really been saying her album started any revolution though and although no one has yet attempted to do a surprise release or visual album, the effect is still being named by the media as "Pulling a Beyonce" (as evidence by the times that it was rumoured that other big artist swould do something similar). And the fact that she is known for something that has not yet even happened is testament to the album's impact in people's minds.
