It's just not a matter you joke about. And apart from that, we want to move on from the past because our generation has nothing to do with it, but 'jokes' like this are the reason we can't and that we still get blamed for something that happened before we or our parents were even born.

The sad reality is that Germans will unfortunately never be able to move past it, especially since it still happened less than 75 years ago and had such an enormous impact on the world today. Though they should most definitely not feel the guilt of their ancestors, the history is still there and is taught all over the world. It will be a long time before anyone forgets or stops bringing it up.

Pff... Now people is gonna act like there aren't TV shows/stand ups that uses Dark/Acid humor (Nazi/WW2 included) . Some of them are funny, some of them are not. But to call people ignorant and stupid because of jokes? Lol. I can understand the ones referring to the death of 6M people, but the others are not offensive.

None of these are cool, they are absolutely rude and almost unfathomably ignorant. My great-aunt is a Holocaust survivor, and her memories & fears are scary

Mty only remark is that history isn't so easily removed from people's mind and there are still people who hear from their older members about the horrible,disgusting call it whatever Nazi invasion. 50 million people died so it's not so easy to close eyes an go past that. Ofc,throwing it in a football game is not the best idea.
