If you support their views and don't agree with their views, then too bad you are what you support. If you support their views, but have no idea what their views are or support the person in question without any idea what they said or what they think, then it's not your fault, but get educated before you immediately jump on their bandwagon…
It depends what your supporting them IN, whether that be their career endeavours, their personal life or if your defending their bigoted comments. The first two I have a little more sympathy for, but bigotry and prejudice deserve to be called out. I've had friends that have made horribly inappropriate jokes or statements poking fun at being gay, and if their mean-spirited I'll call them out. The same should apply to any and every celebrity... what it comes down to is whether or not your able to think for yourself.
Being a fan of them regardless? No.
Actually SUPPORTING what they said/defending them? You're an enabler to their biggotry at best, or agree with their views at worst.
