The funny thing is on evry level someone is doing it better than Rihanna. Albums, Tours, Endorsements, Social Media, and even singles now. She's very successful but at the end of the day she is NOT on top. At this point, there is nothing any of you pressed haters can convince me (and most of the GP ) that Beyonce is not the biggest and most global Pop Star as of 7/9/14

Get ready for the next STADIUM tour by Beyonce. Beyonce will gross upwards of $325 million dollars with stadiums. She did $227 million with arenas... But Rihanna did stadiums... and did significantly less... So it appears people aren't really here for spending big bucks on Global, WWW, ICON!!! Some icons just have worldwide appeal that the other girls can't match for some unknown reason First there was Madonna and now we have Rihanna

I know it's hard for you girls to grasp certain concepts but that is kind of the whole point sweetie. She is at or near the top of every category: ww album sales, singles, touring, media presence, trend setting, income, celebrity power and social media. Certain others I have seen mentioned in this thread are severely lacking in some major areas, the only girl coming close is Katy and she is still lacking in at least 2 of those departments

good luck for that but she will need a super successful album... the world has already seen her recently in Mrs Carter tour and now she is doing the On The Run tour... she needs to go away for 2-3 years and come back with a monster album that is full of hits

she is able to touch many cultures in the fact that she herself is "ethnic". she makes music with different appal that targets different ppl "rnb/pop/rock/reggae/ballads" etc... she is also seen as sexyto men and women and is one of few female artist that a guy can openly like without being categorized as "gay" lol

She's seen as being really cool and she appeals to straight people as well. Straight girls love her because she's such a style icon to them. She's the biggest trendsetter in the world. And straight guys love her because her vocals are perfect for features. She's got credibility in their eyes because she's worked with Eminem, Jay Z, Kanye West, Coldplay, Wale and Calvin Harris. So whether you're into festival music, EDM or rap, it's not considered "gay" to like Rihanna like it is with someone like Gaga. And there's no stigma around liking her, like with someone like Kesha. It's actually ok to admit you like Rihanna because she's just seen as being really cool by all young people.

She has mass appeal to straight teenagers and straight people in their 20s. And outside of ATRL, there are more straight people in this world consuming pop music than gay people, purely because they're a bigger market and there's so many more of them.

She didn't need AN album for the Mrs. Carter Tour and she def didn't need a multi-platnium album for this current sold-out stadium tour. She literally had a 4 month gap inbetween doing tours and still managed to sell out. Poor you, who has been living under a rock.

The truth. She's light, so black girls can relate, white girls can relate. If a rihanna song comes on in my gym, nearly everyone songs along but if a gaga or beyonce song comes on if you have a peenus and you sing along, might as well have "bender" tattooed on your forehead.
