I've worked both. Honestly, retail is far worse.
At least fast food gives you good hours with long shifts . Retail throws you around on the schedule, sometimes you'd be getting three shifts a week, while the next week you will get one 4-5 hour shift a week. And of course when they try to call you in, if you don't accept you
will notice a decrease in hours the following week. Retail also gives people very unreasonable sales goals with a lot more hell thrown towards you if you don't make your sales goal. You can't force people to buy your ****** clothes
