Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office detectives arrested two women and a teenager accused in a hair extension theft-turned-carjacking. Investigators are still searching for a fourth suspect in the case, a 15-year-old Marrero girl, said Glen T. Boyd, spokesman for the department.
Tyisha Heard, 21, Jasmine Dandridge, 17, and Shiniqua Frazier, 22, all of Marrero, are accused of stealing a car from a 22-year-old New Orleans woman during what was supposed to be a deal for designer hair extensions, according to arrest reports.
Authorities say the women pepper-sprayed the victim and shocked her with a stun gun three times before making off with the extensions and her 2002 Chrysler Seabring. The Sheriff's Office is not identifying the fourth suspect because she is a juvenile.
