I'm pretty sure people don't choose to slap on genderqueer because of a fad, specifically given the prejudice against anyone who ventures out of gender norms in today's society - much less for someone who may/may not vacillate.
They SHOULD be part of the LGBT community - but there needs to be a lot more awareness for people who DO belong to these labels. It's not that there aren't people who fall into these labels and choose to use them, there are (and I'm sure there are people on Tumblr who are genuine when they use these labels, so that's a pretty harsh criticism) - but I agree, there are people who misuse labels to look trendy.
It's still not right to disregard an entire section of people just because teenagers decided they were on trend right now. I don't see my pansexuality as being a fad, and I don't really mind when people call me bisexual instead tbh. That's just a personal preference though - some people get offended when you classify them as something they're not.
On top of all this, why would you choose to include asexuals as people who shouldn't be considered part of the LGBT community? Like, I can
marginally understand why not the others given LGBT could loosely be used as blanket terms for those people - but there are people who feel no sexual attraction at all. Do they not have a right to tell people I'm asexual and I'm proud?
