yes, i like a lot of her music, i find her life story inspiring (moving to nyc with no money and working her way up to superstardom), i find her to be funny and fearless, i love how she has always done her own thing, and i like how she doesnt let her age define her or her actions/music.

she's made a lot of good music and had a lot of impact on the industry but most of her songs don't really do it for me, so i respect her more than i like her

I find it suspect when Gaga stans claim she has no good songs. If you're a fan of Gaga you're most likely a fan of dance-pop and Madonna has some of the best dance-pop/pop albums of all time.

I mean that's totally subjective. Younger people are probably turned off by the dated productions of her older albums. I like dance pop but I like Gaga for her voice, and I think that's where Madonna falls short. I respect her and her legacy etc, but I'm not sure why anyone would be baffled by a person not liking a certain artist.
