Well OF COURSE Lady Gaga is considered the headlining act. That I get.
I was talking about festivals in general: Rock in Rio, iHeartRadio, Radio 1's Big Weekend, Coachella, etc.... they draw in huge crowds not just based one one performer alone.
So you know that most of them if not all were there to see Gaga and paid a ticket, what's not commendable about that?

exactly. obviously Gaga was the biggest star there but you can say shes the sole reason people came. its a city event. people would have come if gaga was there or not
The only sad thing is that T&S played for a bigger crowd than your fave ever has, all because they opened for Gaga
Nooooo
--------
Stop being so pressed people it's obvious they were there for Gaga, I mean, how many people would T&S And that Canadian act could bring? + Look at the vids other members posted... People was clearly there for Gaga

This is true. However, these people are standing in front of Lady Gaga's stage, meaning they were they to watch Lady Gaga. I don't get why this is so hard to understand. 100,000 people at a festival doesn't mean 100,000 people have to watch Lady Gaga.
Gaga's stage was not in the middle of the festival. It was at its own location and the videos posted show people running to the stage to see Gaga. 100,000 traversed to where Gaga's stage was to watch her. 100,000 people were there to watch Lady Gaga. Sorry about it.

Exactly. 100,000 people were crowded around HER stage during HER set, so what the hell else would they be doing besides watching her perform?

The whole "festival" logic only works if there's one stage and the festival goers don't have to move from place to place to see certain acts. Because this festival had different stages, everyone in the crowd at Gaga's show was in front of that stage to see Gaga, the main act on that stage.
The event organizers and the two acts that played on that stage before Gaga all credited Gaga for the massive crowd.
