Since 1990 the only other multiple Wimby winners are Williams, Williams, and Graf.

Can't help but wonder about Venus. This could've been her. The only player who took a set off of the Grass GOAT, the real final.
I trusted Petra's fitness more going forward more though. I think that match helped Petra too...that match gave her focus and experience against a power player (despite what Chrissie claimed ). Bouchard just didn't have that after facing the likes of Cornet, a tired Kerber, and an injured Halep.

THE NEW QUEEN OF WTA
Congratulations on your 2nd slam, a 2-peat! Hopefully please win the FO next year, I just know you're gonna win next year, the stars are aligning for you.
I hope all these Bouchard fans will eat a humble pie. But even then, the ESPN commentators are focusing on how she lost rather than focusing on Petra's victory. The bitch is now exposed for her basic game. BE GONE!
I was scared during the first set because Petra seemed like she's tight during the rallies, but that amazing point at 2-2 was just pure heaven.
Hopefully, she's ready for more.

Serena's second slam was the French Open, the beginning of her famous "Serena Slam" . Will Petra go on a tear and push out Serena for good?

Y'all are so optimistic, Wimbledon is on grass which is Petra's most fave surface, will she keep up with such form during the US Open Series?

Petra is still 2-0 slams in finals, let's keep that 100% winning record clean

Petra will last till the 4th round in USO, probably another SF in AO 2015, and finally win FO2015. It's just in her blood, I can feel it

@ Petra winning the French
She has a similar game style to Venus, meaning she'll rack up most, if not all, of her slams at Wimbledon and the US Open. Would not be surprised if she snuck in one Australian Open though.

Well hopefully, she racks up her 3rd this year at the USO, and I hope if she meets her bitch Vika, she'll destory her.

I need a healthy Azarenka back, I miss ha.
These bitches on ESPN still gassing Bouchard. "She's the complete package. And she's lost to the eventual champion each time so she shouldn't feel too bad." The desperation.

Thank god Petra got into her slump early in her career, as it made her even stronger and more mature. She's not ready for the spotlight.
Vika peaked too early, but when she got injured, it's like Safina all over again.
And 4-2 H2H, now they have 2 slams, and hopefully Petra will win more slams

They're replaying Djoker/Dimi. I knew they wouldn't show Petra/Bouchard again. Hopefully someone has the match up on YouTube soon.
And Petra wasn't ready for the spotlight in 2011. But she's ready now. Bad Petra might be dead for good.

We need more Sharapova clones at the opposite side of the net, cause that's the only way Petra will win slams.

Well done for Genie for taking 1 step further, tho. Final is a good accomplishment.
She seems to me like Safina, Woz, Jankovic type. Good quality player, but will not be among the greats. Could fluke a slam along the way, tho.
|
Eh, more like the Veras and the Oracles. Consistently good vultures, but when finally meet up with a talented player, they bow down and cry in spankings.

The delusion. Clay specialist Vulturapova can rejoice not being double bageled by peak grass-GOAT Kvitova as a massive victory.
