That's my point. She seems to have changed. Why should she have known better? Because she's 20? Is that somehow a universally agreed upon age for having all your opinions and morals figured out?
If she failed, where was she going to go? If Fancy has never taken off like the singles before it? Was she somehow going to transition into another successful career? I'm not denying white privilege, but she doesn't necessarily have anything other than her love for music and a big dream. She even sings about that.
