 Eh, you just have to remember that members aren't usually frustrated/mad at you personally. They are just upset about the situation and you are a figure of authority in this situation.
The best way to handle it is not to be dismissive (a.k.a saying "I'm not biased. You are wrong"), but rather to acknowledge their complaint, no matter how ridiculous it may be, and say that you will look at the issue.
I think the #1 thing that gets people mad at mods is that some of them are overly dismissive and do not EVER publicly acknowledge the possibility that they could ever be wrong.
