Everyone is saying Iggy is doing well because shes a white rapper so she can be mainstream, but then people say fancy is doing well because of the hook and not iggy.
It's a smash because it's an OK rap pop song sung by a curvy white woman with a made-to-go-viral music video that homages Clueless, therefore making it palatable to white gays and white women and increasing its chances at smashing by 500%.
What's the difference between a hook and a chorus? Is there one?

Great verses with a complimenting chorus. There are a few lines in the verses that are nearly, if not more catchy than the chorus itself. "Who dat, who dat?" "I G G Y" "You should want a bad bitch like me"

If Nicki had done the same it would have smashed imo
