What do you mean in "Today's age"? There ARE homeless people and people who don't have access to fresh water in "today's age"? I mean the smell does bother me but unless they're just being nasty and choosing to not shower it's not like I'd outwardly judge them.

I don't despise them. I don't despise anyone. But it makes me uncomfortable. I work with a girl who, when she first started, never wore deodorant and rarely washed her uniform because she'd recently moved out of home and wasn't use to doing her own laundry so frequently. A private conversation with our manager changed all that though.

All you have to do is have a conversation with them, but do it privately so they won't be so embarrassed.

There is always a solution. I am not talking about extreme cases. But being poor doesn't mean not taking care of hygiene. Let's not talk about students in uni that stink.

You're not talking about extreme cases but obviously if someone stinks then it's extreme make up your mind. If someone isn't showering because it's their own choice not to then yeah that's gross and all but what's there to judge? Just try not to sit next to them on the bus or something. I love how you say that there's always a solution, but I'd love to hear your solutions. Should they jump into a muddy creek?

Solution is to take care of their hygiene. Let's not act like a shampoo and a quick shower is the most expensive thing ever. And if you read the example above. The lady in the office didn't take care of her hygiene but she had a JOB. Like

See but that's because she chooses not to take a shower (which is totally different imo). It was just your wording on "today's age" that confused me.

I only experienced it once and it was in high school this guy smelled like dodo all the time and then some people in the class got some perfume and febreeze sprayed the **** out of him
