A California Highway Patrol officer was caught on tape punching a woman on the side of a Los Angeles highway on Tuesday.
The video posted on YouTube shows the cop pursuing the woman on foot past an I-10 on-ramp. Those recording it can be heard laughing at first. (Warning: video contains NSFW language).
But the laughs quickly subside as the cop grabs the woman, who is either pulled down or falls to the ground, and then repeatedly punches her.
If this was a black cop beating a white woman it would be a media circus.
I was actually hoping she would be white so this wouldn't become a race thing but of course not
Cops treat white women way more humanely. It would never occur to most of them to do something like this unless she had a gun or something.
Yet it's not that uncommon for white male cops to do this to black women. I still remember the story of this girl getting punched in the face just for jaywalking.
