WTF Scream 4 was fantastic. A return to form after the disappointing Scream 3. However, I would be happy with them ending it there and not continuing. Kevin's work has actually gone downhill quite a bit, so this doesn't make me completely upset about him not being involved. However, I don't think they should go forward with a 5th one if they are not using his original concept at least.
I'm not sure why everyone is so convinced 5 is happening right now though. It's all about the development of the TV show right now, so if the real thoughts ever go into Scream 5, it probably wouldn't happen for at least a few years.
'5' will happen. Clue? The OP. Get it together my educated in common sense ATRLers! Also 4 did make basically $100m WW which was a win though they were disappointed I'm US returns. That can be easily attributed to bad marketing and the mess during production. Three, the TV show.
He seems bummed they didn't choose his script/idea but was the one dragging them down with 4. Either you're busy and don't want anything to do with it or dedicate your time to it. This whole "oh they're leaving me out" mess is ridiculous. His entire attitude on Scream has been pissy for years now, no wonder they are moving on without the stress and drama he'd likely cause them if apart of the 5th's production.
And I agree that Kevin's pissy victim attitude in regard to the series has gotten old. He is the one with all of the side projects that he took on and prioritized over 3 and most of 4. He can only blame himself.
