Words cannot describe how perfect this album is.... From the moment I heard her voice on "Wild Ones" and "Titanium", I was like, "Holy sh*t... She's got a fantastic voice." And then I heard everyone on ATRL raving about "Chandelier" and I happened to see the video on VH1. After the first few listens, I was kind of hooked. I checked out some of her older stuff and I love "Day Too Soon" and "Soon We'll Be Found". I'm so glad I checked out this album because it's honestly amazing. Sia has one of the best voices out there right now and she's an incredible songwriter as well. The industry needs more artists like her. I'm not checking her other stuff until I get another iTunes gift card, though, because I know I'm going to be slayed by it and want to buy it. This album was incredible, though. She deserves a few Grammys for this, but she'll get snubbed, unfortunately.

Just bought it on the pre-order. "Big Girls Cry," "Burn the Pages," "Straight for the Knife" and "Dressed In Black" are amazing. Don't need to say anything bout "Elastic Heart" and "Chandelier", right?

Been working on a written piece on Sia, so I've been revisiting her older albums (I been a fan ) as well as listening to this one. My main issue is that her annunciation is probably at its worst since Colour the Small One, mainly the lower half of CtSO is so hard to understand without reading along with written out lyrics. Lyrically and vocally, there are some insane moments on this album, but I missed a lot of them with my first couple listens because of her poor annunciation.

I love the album otherwise. Right now, the tracks that really stand out to me are Straight for the Knife, Free the Animal, Fire Meet Gasoline, Cellophane, and Dressed in Black. Cellophane gives me updated, more detailed Breathe Me teas and I live for it ugh. It's probably going to end up being my third favorite Sia album after We Are Born (fave) and Some People Have Real Problems (2nd fave). Maybe second idk.

I still love Chandelier and it is deserves all the success it is getting right now.
