Been working on a written piece on Sia, so I've been revisiting her older albums (I been a fan

) as well as listening to this one. My main issue is that her annunciation is probably at its worst since Colour the Small One, mainly the lower half of CtSO is so hard to understand without reading along with written out lyrics. Lyrically and vocally, there are some insane moments on this album, but I missed a lot of them with my first couple listens because of her poor annunciation.
I love the album otherwise. Right now, the tracks that really stand out to me are Straight for the Knife, Free the Animal, Fire Meet Gasoline, Cellophane, and Dressed in Black. Cellophane gives me updated, more detailed Breathe Me teas and I live for it ugh. It's probably going to end up being my third favorite Sia album after We Are Born (fave) and Some People Have Real Problems (2nd fave). Maybe second idk.
I still love Chandelier and it is deserves all the success it is getting right now.
