Spotify isn't really a valid measure of worldwide popularity at this point, it has yet to launch in most countries and was only recently (months ago) launched in many countries.
Madonna's low YouTube views are due to her videos being spread across a variety of channels and not being available in many countries. And it's also quite a dodgy way of determining popularity, "Dancing Queen", one of the most iconic songs of all-time, only has 40 million or so views. Does it mean every old song with views over that is more remembered? Of course not. People around the world use different ways to consume music.
