As a non-native English speaker, the British accent is so hard to understand for me.

Not too much on the good sis Kimberley Walsh. I'm from like a ten, fifteen minute drive from where she was born so I hope you're not digging our accent

Let me start watching these.
Speeches aren't really that easy to judge, though, so I probably won't write big comments or anything.

Team Cheryl

Taylor Swift
Cheryl:
She's the loveliest
Nicole:
I feel like as though you completely missed the ball. It’s a fierce competition and she cried…I’m guessing she doesn’t have many speeches
Miley:
All of Taylor's speeches sound the same, but I'm glad she thanked almost everyone possible that worked with her on Fearless so you got a 6 from me for that.
Madonna:
Aw! She's so cute. You can hear in her voice that she wanted the award. It isn't elaborated like the ones in the other entries but she's really talking with her heart and I appreciate that!
Lea:
Really loved this one. Very adorable and sincere. Love how she brought up her band, too, and gave them recognition. Great speech.
Sky:
A classic Taylor speech. Pretty much all that's too that.
Team Miley

Team Nicole

Shakira
Cheryl:
I knew she was going to be amazing. Make them latinos proud
Nicole:
Smart ass or what. Not only in the halls of Oxford, but a topic I completely agree with. Eloquent and delivered well. I was surprised when I found this and I’m glad we both agreed on this entry.
Miley:
Good speech from Shakira. Only problem is, again, it felt too much like a formal essay you here at a High School speech thing. But everything she said was on point. So nice job this round.
Madonna:
I love how she talks about improving the world and that the education is the key to make a change, but what I love the most is that she doesn't just talk about it but also does something (She opened a school in one of Colombia's poorest cities).
Lea:
Not impressed with this one at all. It seemed very preachy and her just telling a bunch of facts. I'm sure that was the whole point of the speech, but I just wasn't too into it. I felt like the guy that was coughing in the audience at the 3 minute mark.
Sky:
You can tell the passion she has for the topic she is speaking about. Very admirable.
Team Lea

Girls Aloud
Cheryl:
K.
Nicole:
Again..completely missed the ball. I love Kimberley so much but she was so dreary. And the girls were so cringey, like nobody laughed along and Sarah and Nicola seemed like two miserable women. Wasn’t there anything else to sumbit?
Miley:
This really didn't seem like a speech. It seemed like a press conference. So it didn't suit the round at all.
Madonna:
It's nice to see the enjoy being together! It must be a pain in the ass working with someone you hate.
Lea:
I don't get this choice... I think you might've messed your run with this one. It's cute with them being all together and everything, but the speech is nothing memorable or anything whatsoever.
Sky:
It's not really a speech, just chit chatting awkwardly.
Team Madonna

Lady Gaga
Cheryl:
Again, this is just EPIC.
Nicole:
Arrgh! I knew it. I knew you’d smash it. I’m so jealous I want you in my team. Powerful, persuasive and genuine. Fierce and absolutely fabulous. Very good entry.
Miley:
This was when I stanned for GaGa because she actually was taking a stand for gay rights without labeling everyone as little monsters. Her speech was amazing and you don't need to watch the whole thing to know that: I would have watched all of it if I wasn't on the verge of dying in Kill Switch
Madonna:
A bit.... long but she makes good points. The "Don't ask, don't tell" policy was so dumb I'm glad it was repealed.
Lea:
The best choice for sure. Absolutely raw, amazing and Gaga was SO into it. Everything she was saying was absolutely true and the way she said it all made it impossible to look away or close your ears.
Sky:
So powerful. This was a highlight of her being a public figure.
Team Sky

Katy Perry
Cheryl:
This is great for a Katy Perry speech, no shade.
Nicole:
Do you know what…I didn’t hate it. It was just pretty bland. Rehearsed obviously as all good speeches are but it didn’t exude fierceness. I thought she was very eloquent so top marks up there but everything else is a little lacklustre.
Miley:
I thought the first half of the speech was a bit too much like a formal speech you would here at a Graduation ceremony or at an Every 15 Minutes Event. But when she started talking about what she grew up around, that's when she drew me in, because then it felt like I was listening to a real statement and not some formal generic speech. So the last half was good, but the first half bored me.
Madonna:
It's unusual to see Katy talking about gay rights. It was a nice speech tho!
Lea:
Yasss, Katy was preaching up and down and made plenty of great points as well as nice, thoughtful lines that really stuck out. She also didn't make it totally boring or anything and added a joke or two in there, too. Great pick.
Sky:
Respectful, brought herself to a level where she is talking as an equal who appreciates what the organization is doing. Bad wording, but she just seems very genuine here.
Kylie Minogue
Cheryl:
This is my favorite, the one that touched me the most.
Nicole:
Such a beautiful short speech. It was not perfect enough but really heart-warming. It packed a punch in such a simplistic way. She delivered really sincerely and her words really affect you. Well done!
Miley:
I just don't get this one. Sure, she's supporting a good cause, but isn't this an acceptance speech round? It looked more like something you would see in a documentary interview.
Madonna:
She's so inspiring. I think this is the best entry this round because unlike Katy or Gaga (for example), who talk about gay rights (which is amazing) but aren't gay (well, Gaga says she's bi, but I don't trust ha) and I'm sure they weren't discriminated for their sexual orientation, she's talking about something she went through with (Cancer is )
Lea:
Fine.
Sky:
Was very touching the way she opened up.

My first top spot (I think?) Thank y'all so much!
But I need to address this...
How ridiculous...

So called judges don't even know what they are judging, this was speech round, not just for acceptance speeches. Not to mention I wasn't the only one who didn't include an acceptance speech, only two people used acceptance speeches.
What I provided was a speech, I understand if you don't like it but to give a 1, because of your own mistake, that's just silly. I was kind of staying away from the whole trash MLD's judging but it's like, every round just get's worse.

It just didn't have that speech feel to it. I mean, she's sitting down for one thing and it just looks like she was being interviewed by someone for a segment. That's all I got from it.

Katy You were doing so well, shame you had to get banned.
Girls Aloud, I don't really know tha group much (as I've said before) but you did have some nice entries. Even though you were my act, you definitely screwed up this round and I can't really disagree with your elimination. Great job getting this far, though, both of you.
