People saying Beyonce are reaching to a certain extent. Less than six months ago she recieved #2 Hot 100 hit (that stayed in the top 10 for weeks) from an urban-based song that was not properly promoted (one televised performance: Grammys) that boosted the song's popularity up into the top ranks of the Billboard charts. She may not have the BEST chance (those rights are reserved for Katy and Rihanna) due to her genre niche being urban, which isn't as appealing to the mainstream; as opposed to the "pop/radio-friendly" songs that gains huge coverage--BUT she isn't the least likely, either considering an urban/trap song peaking at number 2 after on promo spot. She has the starpower to gain exposure, #1s are more dependent on "content" and "promotion"..Beyonce is moderate-good at the least!

hmm, I'm sure all those voters who voted for Bey also said she won't see a top 10 hit.

Right..I think most are reaching for the stars. DIL, a TRAP song, peaks at #2 on the Hot 100, with minimal effort (1 performance) but according to them, there's about 98% chance that she's never getting a number one again!

Beyonce, the only artist that can catapult a urban subgenre song (trap music--very underdeveloped) into HIT stardom!

Just like the polls says, the trinity of never getting another #1 again, Madonna, Christina and Britney.
I don't know how anyone could vote for Bey when she just has a #2 single this year with DL and she had a #1 single with Telephone in 2010.

Telephone is GaGa's #1, and DIL was a very minor hit. I wouldn't be so confident if i were you.

Nope, it was Gaga's and Bey's #1, if Bey wasn't on the song, it would be Gaga's #1. And regardless if DIL was minor or major, it went to #2 on bb ww and could've went to #1 with more promo. Its an urban song which rarely go to #1 these days and the only promo it got was the grammys, yet it still was a #2 hit.

I still stand by my point I mean her last solo top 10 was in 2009 the only ones that have gone more without a solo top 10 are Christina (2008) and Madonna.(2005).

I could see it for all of them tbh with how to charts are structured now. All they'd need would be a viral video.

Are these people really thinking straight for voting Katy Perry of all people? Not when she's releasing Legendary Lovers. Watch her snatch that #1 easily and show you wrong!

Christina could still get a #1 though, she has one of the most iconic voices ever and looks amazingly hot, young too.
It's just a matter of finding the right song.
